About Us: The Story Behind SafeAirNow

During the summer wildfires of 2017, thick smoke began seeping into our home through the cracks. The valley air was stagnant for weeks. One day, struggling to breathe and gripped by a panic attack, I found myself clutching my air purifier for comfort. That was my breaking point. I packed up and drove to the coast, where the sun’s rose-gold reflection danced on the ocean waves. The sky was still hazy, but the ocean breeze was clean enough to breathe again.

When the smoke finally cleared, I set out on a mission: to find an air purifier that truly worked.

Fast forward to 2021, another brutal smoke season, layered on top of a global pandemic. By then, I had five different air purifiers running in my home, but the results were still inconsistent. Then a friend introduced me to a technology used on the space station but rarely found in residential settings: Air & Surface Scrubbers.

That’s when everything changed.

SafeAirNow was born out of this journey. We now offer sales, rentals, education, and installation of this powerful technology.
